Revcast's vision is to see all companies successfully achieve — and even exceed — the goals of their revenue plans. We’re making this a reality by arming companies with a framework for best practices planning combined with the right real-time insights about their full pipeline capacity. This helps our customers better anticipate risks, capture new opportunities, ensure efficient growth, and build consensus on what’s possible.
As an example, one Revcast customer recently told us that after insights revealed their actual sales rep ramp times and time-to-attainment were shorter than their plan’s assumptions, they were able to save over $200,000 in over-payment of reps just from that one piece of information. And across most customers, they typically save weeks (if not months) of annual people time in putting plans and ad hoc reporting together.
Our product today takes the complexity and data mess out of full pipeline revenue planning and its ongoing oversight and execution. Revcast streamlines and delivers transparency to timely information so you can take action faster to ensure you’re in the best position to meet your targets. In 2023, Revcast hired CEO Dustin Amrhein who brings 18 years of experience running sales, customer success, and business development teams ranging from IBM to Pendo.
The Revcast idea was born when two business leaders with hands-on experience building and managing revenue plans got so frustrated by the current way of doing things, they envisioned a new approach.
Pendo Co-Founder Eric Boduch was in charge of GTM for a new product. Jeff Serlin had recently run RevOps for Pendo after a long career of standing up revenue operations teams at Intercom, Marketo, Campaign Monitor, and more. Eric and Jeff both experienced first-hand the frustrations and lack of solution to help them efficiently and effectively manage their full pipeline capacity plans and decisions.
Revcast was created, and it was the first company to come out of startup studio 24 and Up, which provides development support, funding, and advisory to very early-stage companies. Jeff Serlin came on board as our chief revenue operations officer and strategist, while Eric Boduch remains an active advisor through the 24 and Up studio. Revcast closed our initial $3M seed round in June 2023, led by CRV, with participation from Coughdrop Capital, Firsthand Alliance, IDEA Fund Partners, Lorimer Ventures, Tiferes Ventures and Oldslip.
