Product Update: Improved Visibility to Pipeline, Projections, Scenario Modeling

Scenario Analysis Made Easy

A key step in making the right decision is understanding what will likely happen. What inputs are required, and what outcomes might you get based on those inputs? Revcast’s new "What-If" ScenarioAnalysis feature allows you to immediately understand what might happen.

You can create future scenarios with natural language input, foresee the outcome of inevitable plan changes, and preempt future risk and opportunities by taking action today. You'll just type in your question and hit "Ask" to get started...

Improve Your Pipeline Visibility

We know how important it is to stay focused on your pipeline at every stage. The more information you have about in-flight sales opportunities, the better you will be at closing them with a win.

Now in Revcast, the Open Pipeline by Stage & Close Date graph on the Dashboard now includes the ability to filter by Opportunity type, helping you identify and act on future pipeline opportunities now. For example, you can filter to view your total open pipeline by either new business, renewals, or upsell opportunities – while still seeing those by your sales cycle stage definitions, so you can assess how likely those may move to a close within the same quarter.

Revcast now includes a view of open pipeline by stage and close date that can be filtered by opportunity type.

Projections to Inform Plans

Having a best estimate of your future performance is critical to revenue planning, ideally backed by real data.

We’ve added Projected Revenue and Projected Cost data to the Budget view so that you’re able to plan with more confidence. These projections originate with your core revenue assumptions, like quota and ramp, coupled with the Headcount Capacity Plan you have in Revcast. Plus, you can toggle between monthly and quarterly views and also export as an Excel or CSV file for added flexibility and collaboration.

Revcast lets you see projected revenue and projected costs by quarter or by month in your Budget view.

Plan… and Verify

For those who love details, we’ve enhanced the existing Dashboard Details Table to include both the plan and actual value for key metrics, from in-seat headcount to pipeline generation. The data can be filtered by Segment and Team, providing the monthly granularity and transparency you need to ensure that your plans stay on track.

In your Dashboard's detail review, you can see planned values alongside actual values for different areas of your GTM plan: headcount, sales segments, pipeline generation, and costs.
