RevOps Revolution Podcast Launches! Honest Convos with GTM Leaders

We’re very excited to announce our new podcast RevOps Revolution – where we talk to extraordinary and visionary go-to-market leaders to unpack the lessons they’ve learned from their real-work experiences and how they see revenue org planning and operations evolving.

RevOps Revolution Podcast host Jeff Serlin

Each 20-30 minute episode is hosted by Revcast’s own Jeff Serlin, our chief RevOps officer who brings 20+ years of experience spanning a range of revenue team sizes and challenges. If you listen to just one episode you’ll find out what I love about Jeff’s approach - it’s a combination of candor, true retrospection, advice for the future, and a little bit of humor!

As we’ve talked about for the past year, the GTM function has changed – new rules apply. Drawing on principles applied in agile software development and supply chains, it’s not just about hitting your number. It’s about hitting a set of goals that also include performance and cost efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability along with your revenue targets. RevOps Revolution is your place to hear these topics discussed in the wild.

Our first four episodes are now available on Apple Podcasts and other popular podcast platforms. We want to thank our guests, and be sure to check out our blog for highlights on each episode in the coming weeks:

  • Episode 1: Kareem Agha, CRO of Haus, talks about how RevOps is a guiding compass for him as a revenue leader and a trusted, high-valued partner. I love when Kareem says during his talk that: “There is no other reason why RevOps exists other than to help the company succeed.”
  • Episode 2: Jennifer Brannagan, CRO of Korn Ferry, covers extensive ground with Jeff, so we broke her discussion into two parts. In this first segment, she reviews the pitfalls and opportunities she sees in the practice of sales forecasting and how to get more out of those regular meetings to draw out risks and insights to adapt faster.
  • Episode 3: Part two of the conversation with Jennifer Brannagan focuses on building and fostering the right culture within the sales organization, aligning that to the greater company culture, and how RevOps can be supportive of it. Every CRO and CEO should listen to this episode!
  • Episode 4: Andy Mowat ran RevOps at four “unicorn” companies and shares his perspectives on the scale-up challenges and focusing on what matters. He got my attention when he said: “A lot of times it's trying to cut through the noise early and finding those really high-impact projects and then there's just so many things that don't need to be done.”

While you may pick up a few new tactical tips along the way, the primary goal of the RevOps Revolution show is to elevate the conversation about RevOps to its worthy ranks – connecting everyone from marketing and sales and finance towards shared transparency, accountability, and impact.

We have more episodes to be published in the coming weeks and months. I hope you get a chance to listen during your commute, your workouts, road trips… and let us know what you think!
